AC and Power Steering Line Question ???
I need to fabricate some new power steering lines for my 48 Dodge , Caviler R & P to a Dodge PS pump. My question is: do ps lines and ac lines share the same crimping tool ?

re: AC and Power Steering Line Question ???
anope....automotive AC lines are mostly -6 -8 and -10 with some large trucks using -12.
Power Steering lines are 3/8 (which is -6) BUT uses a different hose with a different wall thickness. use to make em all the time, and have tried ac line (wont go up into the sleeves), and you have to get your crimps just so or they WILL blow apart. however most shops that can fab AC lines can fab PS lines |
