What rearend gears

I have a four bolt main 350 bored over 40 flat top pistons 487x heads lunati 60102 cam with matching springs 1/6 ratio roller rockers edlebrock rpm performer intake cloyes double roller timing chain edelbrock 1406 carb stock exhaust manifolds backed by a turbo 350 transmission. Right now I'm thinking the truck has either 273s or 308s in the rear end what gears should I put in it to make the motor come alive but still be streetable???? The reason that I think it has 308s or 273s is because I jacked up the rearend and turned the tire a complete turn and the driveshaft spun 1 and a lil over half a turn... Is this right?

re: What rearend gears

I would not go any higher than 3:73 or your highway mileage will be the pits.
