Effective Wet Sanding [by: Halloweenking]
Hotrodders Bulletin Board: Knowledge Base: Body-Exterior: Articles

When wet sanding, the wetter the better. I've found a good technique involving some 1/4"-1/2" rubber tubing, a hose fitting, and some shrink tubing, along with some little suction cups with hooks. Poke holes every 1-2" in the tubing, making sure it's in a somewhat straight line so you don't get a shot in the eye. Then, hook the tubing to the hose adapter and then to the hose, turn the hose on low, put the suction cups on the surface and put the tubing in the little hooks and sand away. I've found that a water bed filling kit found in any store already has the tubing and hose/spigot already assembled, just get the little suction cups and poke the holes.
