Choke

Doc Here :pimp:

Another slick way to hook it up (and is factory Stock) is get a relay, hook the coil to ground and field on the Altenator...then the contacts to fused 12 volts on the normally open, and the choke on the center wiper...

This way the choke will only activate when the engine is RUNNING...it will heat for approx 3 minutes and slowly open as it does..

If you hook it to straight 12 volts and happen to sit in the car for 3 minutes with the key on (listening to radio ect..) the choke will open on a dead cold engine...defeating it's purpose...which is why the factory put in the relay/field circuit on stock set up.

Both will work..just a matter of preferance...
