Maybe in Scotland there is still some decent lead but what we get here is nothing like the old stuff..Takes a bit of learning to get leading done well as well..some are using a metal fill but most of us have gone over to the fiberglass fill material and never looked back.. Only place I know of still using lead are the guys doing Concours level restoration where it is important for the judging..

Some of us are using this: http://www.prosprayfinishes.com/index.cfm

They are in the UK so if i were in your place I would give them a call and see if they have a jobber in your area..when I was jobbing paint materials i had a complete line up of fillers and such that I provided to the shops..Your local independent jobber is your buddy for this stuff..

Fillers are different in their consistency and how they spread out..the best I can offer from here is to buy a quart and see how they work for you as regular ole bondo is thicker and harder to work with for me and something like Marson Platinum which I use is thinner and lays out nicely and sands well at least to my taste as it were (LOL)...
